Director Yuichi Yoshii is involved in with many boutiques that have defined a period in time in Japan. He now owns his own shop, "The Contemporary Fix", which brings together a mixture of cuisine, culture and fashion.The 1st floor houses a deli and the 2nd floor focuses on menswear and a diverse collection of accessories.The space was created with the image of an artist's home in mind, with the whole store arranged as a single home with different spaces corresponding to the imaginary artist's living room, dining room, bathroom, closet, kitchen and terrace.While each room fulfills a function for the store, the aim was to bring together "romantic" and "happy" elements and create a space that is at once edgy but comfortable.
