Opening Ceremony is a retail shop with its flagship store in New York, as well as other stores in New York's Ace Hotel, in Los Angeles, and its first shop overseas in Tokyo. The opening of the Tokyo store involved the large-scale renovation of an existing structure, the 7-story "Movita" building that is a part of the Seibu Department Store in Shibuya. The concept for the store is a "mini mega mall", that is, a collection of smaller shops where all kinds of products are brought together in one shopping mall. Jamo developed precise themes for each of the seven floors and created a dreamlike world reminiscent of a sort of Disney Land. In doing so, we focused on Opening Ceremony's brand concept, which can be said to be the greatest possible expression in their stores of the enjoyment of fashion and shopping.
